Bluewave SWIFT: Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how we, Bluewave International Ltd., use and protect any information that you give us when you use our software or services that we are employed to deliver, under our contract with you or the organization you are, or were, employed by at the time the contract was in place ("Contracted Services").

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect

In most instances, Bluewave acts only as a data-processor, whilst your organisation acts as data-controller of your personal data held within SWIFT. However, for our internal procedures and for the purpose of delivering the Contracted Services, we do act as a data-controller. In these cases we may use the following information about you:

name, job title and organisation
contact information, including email address
records of correspondence between us
records of your activity within SWIFT

What we do with the information we gather

We may use this information for the following reasons:

To provide support, either proactively or reactively.
To improve our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, services, special offers or other information relating to the Contracted Services, which we think you may find interesting, using the email address which you have provided.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes relating to the Contracted Services. We may contact you by email, phone or mail.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, only designated Bluewave staff may access the information we store about you, and such access is password protected.
Your information is stored and processed on Rackspace web servers. Rackspace is a managed-cloud-computing company and are ISO/IEC 27001 (information security management) compliant.

How we use cookies

By logging into SWIFT, you are providing consent for the website to store cookies on your computer.

Controlling your personal information

Please bear in mind that most of the information held about you is already visible to you when logged into SWIFT, or is from email correspondence between us, which might already be visible in your own email management software.

Where you request an electronic copy of the information as detailed above, we will provide a copy of the information free of charge. However, we may charge a reasonable fee when a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly if it is repetitive. The fee will be based on the administrative cost of providing the information.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email or write to us, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

You also have the right to request that we erase the data we store about you, which would be granted if that data is no longer relevant to the Contracted Services, or your current or previous organisation’s data processing.
